I can't wait until this hospital gets shut down! I hope it's because a group of people gang up and take the hospital to court, so they can ensure the incompetent staff never again get jobs.

I'm not saying that all of the staff are incompetent, but there's so much incompetence at this hospital that even the competent ones don't know what's actually going on... In summary, as I said in my introduction: Lovely hospital, but the staff don't quite seem to know what's going on!

My girl was born there this week and the labour went on for a few hours. I had a private cover and the staff in labour ward were really helpful. There was a staff with me and my wife always.. I cannot thank them any more. I speciffically would like to thank Dr Vattani, midwife's Jane B, Kyle and a Student of Adelaide Uni a to be doctor Andy for assisting. The staff were the best. It seems they are a little under staffed but the people in job are sure doing their best. Even I had a sceptical belief as there were a few negative reviews but I liked the way they handled my girls birth and would surely recommend them to others..My thumps up..

Had a 5 week stay with early labor, all the midwives were amazing! I had my baby shower at the hospital and they were very accommodating! The lunch ladies were so friendly and loved to have a chat.

It's worth noting that the rest of this review was crafted based mostly on the experiences conveyed to me by my sociopathic ex-girlfriend and only partially substantiated by my own experiences.

Horrible, long wait with little help. Medical advice was to take panadol and wait 36hrs for the medications to kick in, well this is the level of medical help you get over here. My dog gets better service at my local vet!!!

How do they tell whether a mother can breastfeed or not? If you are a mother and you try to tell them your baby is getting nothing, half of them will dismiss you and say you're doing it wrong or that your baby is getting some, maybe even that "It's normal for new mothers to be concerned like this"... Two days later when they finally try expressing some, they'll discover that you're telling the truth and that your newborn baby has been STARVING for two days! NOT NICE, WCH! LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS!

I'm not entirely sure what happened yesterday, but my partner and our newborn went back into hospital to get checkups done and apparently we had an argument, except that neither of us recall having an argument. The mental health triage rang and told my partner that someone had reported us as being in a "crisis situation", possibly in breach of the law...

I then had my baby at 34 weeks so she had to spend some time in NICU and then SCUBU, the care and dedication these nurses have is just unbelievable. Everything about both our stays at WCH was 100% perfect!! I’m a private patient and I would choose this hospital over and over again after the care I received!

Lovely hospital, but the staff don't quite seem to know what's going on! By lovely, I mean it's clean and has a fantastic view.

Some mothers can't breastfeed. If they can bring the mums food like clockwork, you'd think they could bring the babies food like clockwork too? No. If you're in post-maternal for a long stay, and you can't breastfeed, expect to have to jump up and down yelling and screaming with your baby every four hours. Even when you do this, your babies formula will arrive one hour later and will be cold.
